Diabetes UK is a British-based patient, healthcare professional and research charity that has been described as "one of the foremost diabetes charities in the UK". The charity campaigns for improvements in the care and treatment of people with diabetes.
Diabetes UK are at the forefront of the fight against diabetes. With the help of their supporters, they've run campaigns like the 4Ts to help raise awareness of the symptoms of Type 1 diabetes, made sure children get the care they need in schools with their Make the Grade campaign, fight for equality of care and treatment across the UK with their Flash campaign and are working to make the healthy choice the easy choice with their food labelling campaign.

Breast Cancer Now are a UK charity providing world-class research and life-changing care for people affected by breast cancer. An organisation who help those going through breast Cancer and others effected by it too.

Age UK was formed in 2009 from the merger of Help The Aged and Age Concern. They offer vital services for older people and their carers. Age UK Sheffield offers a free Information & Advice Service. This service is a quality-accredited, free and confidential service for people aged over 50, their families and their carers.
They also provide an independent & not for profit service to help people in Sheffield to live independently in their home. They have an Independent Living Co-ordination (ILC) service which is a three-month package of support in which they can help you and your family members to achieve your independence needs in a huge range of different ways. They also have an award winning Wellbeing, expertly run, day centre for people with mild to moderate dementia and memory loss too.
They run a wide variety of activities, courses and groups across the South West of Sheffield enabling people to get out and about, find new hobbies, stay active and have fun. This is part of the Sheffield People Keeping Well programme.
